Who we are

MK Global SA (Pty) Ltd ("MK Global", "we", "us") is a South African consulting and training practice serving transport, courier, warehousing and logistics businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and what your rights are under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

When you use the enquiry form on this site, we collect what you enter: your name, company, work email, phone number (optional), the sector you operate in, and a description of the problem you'd like help with. We do not collect payment information, ID numbers, or other special personal information through this form.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this site.

Why we collect it

Solely to respond to your enquiry: to call you back, prepare for the operations review walkthrough, and put together a written scope. You give us this information voluntarily by submitting the form, which we treat as your consent for this specific purpose.

How we use it

To contact you about the enquiry you submitted.
To prepare for and conduct the free walkthrough, if you proceed.
To prepare a written scope and quotation.

We do not use your details for marketing you haven't asked for, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for marketing. Two service providers process enquiry data on our behalf so that the form works:

Vercel Inc. (United States): hosts this website and runs the code that receives your enquiry.
Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) (United States): delivers the enquiry to us by email and sends you a confirmation.

Both act only on our instructions. Because both are based outside South Africa, submitting the form involves a cross-border transfer of your information. See our POPIA Compliance page. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and for our own business record-keeping, and delete them sooner on request.

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

Ask what personal information we hold about you.
Ask us to correct information that's wrong or out of date.
Ask us to delete your information.
Object to how we're using your information.
Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) if you believe we've handled your information unlawfully.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you share with us against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site and our data practices develop. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
